The founder of Bilal School Maulana Abdur Rahman Khan Qasmi belongs to a landlord family of Sultanpur, U.P whereas his permanent residence is in Mumbai. By the grace of Allah, he has completed the Islamic as well as Academic education upto a high level. And now has been successfully serving in the field of education.

Family

Father of his paternal grandmother, Jameel Ahmad Khan, played a significant role in the freedom movement of India. He discussed to his wife, 'We are rebels against the British government, and we want to free our country from their oppressive rule. We don't know what the British government will do to us, but I don't want my presence to ruin your life. That's why I want to divorce you, so you can marry someone else and live a peaceful life. But she refused.Still he convinced her and divorced her. This is how, by destroying their domestic life he sacrificed for the freedom of the country. 

He played a crucial role in the "Quit India movement", chanting slogans like "Do or Die" and fighting for the freedom of India." So he was arrested by the British government and imprisoned .When the British army came to arrest him, he said, 'I accept the prison cell for the freedom of my country, but I will not be handcuffed. Instead, I will ride a horse to prison, because the punishment received for the sake of the country is an honor.' So, the British government arranged for a horse, and he was taken to prison on horseback. As he was being taken away, he wanted to convey a message to the Indian people that every sacrifice and hardship endured for the freedom of the country is a great honour, so that as many people as possible can join the freedom movement and India can become independent soon.

On the 25th anniversary of independence, on August 15, 1972, the Prime Minister of India honoured him with a reception and a certificate of appreciation. He passed away in 1975. When the 50th anniversary of independence arrived, the Governer of Uttar Pardesh honoured Family Member in Lucknow, remembering his sacrifices and awarding him a certificate of appreciation. In 2008, the government built a gate at the main entrance of the village, where the road leads to the village, and inscribed his name in bold letters. On the 75th anniversary of independence, on August 15, 2022, the District officers of Sultanpur came to house, presented a certificate of appreciation, and distributed sweets. Later that year, the officials of the tehsil prepared a family tree of Freedom Fughter’s descendants and registered it in the official records. In 2023,on 15 August some senior officers came to our house and planted a tree in the memory of Freedom Fighter, Jamil Ahmed Khan at a prominent place in the village..Maulana’s grandfather, Abdur Razzaque Khan, had served the nation by joining the Indian Army. His Father, Maulana Niyaz Ahmed Mazahiri migrated to Mumbai.

Education

Maulana was enrolled in a Maktab and completed the reciting of Quran and Islamic elementary course, simultaneously studying in a primary school.Further, he joined Darul-Uloom-Imdadiya in Aalmiyat Course. Then was admitted to Darul-Uloom-Deoband, and completed the Alim course.He joined the contemporary schooling in Mumbai and completed SSC (Secondary School Certificate) from Anjuman-I-Islam’s Jaan Muhammad Qasim Night High School. Later he secured admission in Maharashtra College, and passed HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate) from the Science Stream. Further he passed his D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) at AIT's Institute of Pharmacy, Malegaon.Maulana also completed  AD. Arabic (Advance Diploma  in Arabic)  from the University of Mumbai and also completed his B.A. (Bachelor in Arts) from Maharashtra College. Continuing with his further studies Maulana completed his M.A. (Master in Arts) from Mumbai University and secured highest academic standing and First Rank in Master’s in Arabic from Mumbai University, He has also cleared the Ph.D. entrance test in first attempt.
